For a special order we will order the fabric of your choice just for you from a fabric shop in Estonia. Choose your favourite fabric and add a link to the selected fabric in the comments box when ordering.

The production time for your order

If we have the foot cover you have chosen in stock, we will ship the parcel within 1-2 business days.

If we don’t currently have a foot cover in the colour of your choice in stock, our seamstresses will make it for you within 1-2 weeks.

Material

The foot covers are sewn from a resistant softshell fabric. It is a water-repellent fabric that is also used to make outdoor clothing. Softshell fabric consists of three layers: a smooth top layer that is water-repellent, an intermediate layer and an inner fleece lining. A very comfortable material for use in our climate from autumn to spring.

The black softshell foot covers have a reinforced upper flap made of black waterproof fabric (reminiscent of the fabric used for stroller sunshades). The coloured foot covers have all the details in coloured softshell.

Care guide

100% polyester. Wash at a low temperature like sportswear. If necessary, iron on low heat on the right side only (not on the hairy side!).

Storing

You can keep the foot cover in the stroller’s packing basket, or if you prefer, order from our foot cover bag and you can store the foot cover on your stroller’s frame.

Which season is softshell foot cover suitable for?

Foot cover made from softshell is a layer of windproof, extra warmth that’s great to use with your toddler in all seasons.

In the winter, it’s the extra thickness that provides just enough extra warmth and wind protection for a child who is otherwise either walking or warm in a tummy bag in winter clothes, so that when the child is sitting still in the stroller, when it might otherwise be cold, the stroller is still a nice warm nest for a sitting or sleeping child.

In spring and autumn, the foot cover is not too thick, so that a child in s/a clothing doesn’t get too hot under the foot cover, while still being protected well from the wind.

For summer use, our softshell foot covers have a nice large air vent, so if you need a bit of wind protection in bad weather, your child won’t get too hot in the stroller with the softshell foot cover. It’s definitely not a good idea to leave a stroller with a foot cover (or any stroller, for that matter) out in the sun. But if the weather is such that you want something in addition to your regular clothes, our foot cover is just the thing to replace the need to put on sweatpants or a sweater for a child who’s already gone to bed. So you can easily change the thermal class in the stroller without disturbing your baby.

FAQ:

I lost a few fasteners of the foot cover. Is it possible to order new ones? Yes. Send us a picture of exactly what you need and we’ll sew you the necessary fastenings again. A full set of new fasteners will cost 7.- If you only need a few fasteners, the price will be reduced accordingly.

I found a picture on the website that has the exact pattern on the foot cover I would like for myself. Can I also order by the photo? If the fabric of your choice is still available on the links above, we can order it. If you wish, you can send me a photo and we can see together if we can get more of the same fabric. Fabric shops tend to only offer a patterned fabric for a certain period of time, after which it may not be possible to find the same patterned fabric again.
