There are no air openings on the umbrella, how can children get air?
Yes, there are no air vents in the ear+seat Double rain film version. To be honest, I don’t know how it works, but customers say it does. The lower edges of the section are similar to the original Thule film, which also has no air vents. I don’t really understand where the child gets the air from these original films either, but it looks like it does. Both their shield and this big shield here have a very small overlap with the trolley lever on the bottom edge. So it looks like air gets into the trolley from there. Fortunately, no one who has used our enclosed sheeting has complained that the sheeting gets foggy, that it was inconvenient to use, or that the kids were stuck. All the feedback I have received has been positive. Why that is, I have no idea myself.
Personally, I’d definitely prefer a large air vent, where I can see with my own eyes where the child is getting its air. I haven’t been able to come up with an option that would be a basket + seat AND a large air hole, unfortunately. No matter which way I approach it, there will always be a place where water could start to run into the trolley and the film would not serve its purpose.
Fortunately, this rain film still works and customers are happy. As Thule does not offer such a rain cover, our rain cover is essentially indispensable as a basket+seat option when both the basket and the older child need to be protected from the rain.
Rain film colour options
You can choose the colour of the raincoat. Is it a subdued black, or something a bit more brightly coloured?
When adding to the basket, also add the fabric. That way we know which colour to sew for you.

- The fabric part is made of 0,1mm, 70g/m2 silver nylon fabric with UV resistant backing, water resistance 1000mm, abrasion resistance 20 000 Martingale.
- The window film is made of 0.3mm, 382g/m2, frost-resistant, UV-protected PVC material.
