Customer feedback
Greete-Lisette: “Wow, that’s a pretty big cover”
Laura: “I’m sooo so happy, it looks really beautiful. I’m so happy with the way it looks, I love it so much. It’s so practical, I’m just shaking my head and thinking, there’s no point getting a raincoat on the trolley until the summer. It does the job well in rain and snow. And it’s so pretty, thank you so much 😍”
Maria: “We tried different things and the result is something we can be happy with. Thanks to Sanna, now Thule has a very useful foot cover with wind protection.”
Kristina: “I am very satisfied”
Elery: “We chose a classic black colour to match other trolleys if necessary.
Mainly used with the Thule UG2.
We have always used it with the UGU for most of our vehicles, both with and without a warming bag (Voksi Explorer).
Fits wonderfully – can be fixed exactly as you like!
If I’m in a hurry and don’t bother to go into the room to get the fasteners, I’ve even wrapped the tether around it and it holds nicely, doesn’t sink anywhere.
Not to mention the fasteners.
You can also adjust the height – against the armrests, to the height of the safety bar or even lower.
Suitable for use with different footrests.
Glows in the dark and keeps us safe!
THANK YOU!”
Installation guide
The Thule Urban Glide can be attached in several ways. The wind flap can be either up or down. For the front of the wheels, I have planned to position the edge of the skirt under the trolley’s own original footbed, but several customers have also chosen to attach the skirt to the front of the wheel.
When you take the footwear out of the package, it has a fairly common fastening option attached. There is a clip on the side that you can use to pull the edges of the skirting from the sides to the bottom of the trolley. At the top of the wind flap there are carabiners to snap onto the trolley frame.
The package also comes with a set of other. If you like, you can find a whole new way of attaching them that’s just right for you. If you don’t need them, you can keep the kit anyway. You may be able to use the same foot cover with another model of trolley later on.
Here you can see a selection of other customers’ favourite mounting options. If you find an even better way, send me pictures too! I’ll also post them here for others to see.
Liina: “The way we did it was that we put the click fastener around the fabric and then we could attach the fasteners on the cover to the ring on the click. A very good system that way. Nothing is left loose anywhere.”
Margarita: “Coming from the top, I attached a rubber-button fastener to the penultimate eyelets, which I attached to the back strap of the seat back on the trolley. In the uppermost ones I put a rubber carabiner in each so that they could be put together behind the backrest. This seating position fits. In the upright position I’ll probably attach it to the cart frame.”
