Ordering instructions

When ordering, please write in the comments section which colour tie and body edges you would like. The fabric you want is probably already waiting in our stock and if not, I will have it delivered for you. I’ll send you photos of the fabric before I start sewing. That way you’ll know in advance exactly what shade of tie body we will sew for you.

Size

The tie body has two rows of clips on the body part. Therefore, the body part can be lengthened as the child grows. The ribs of the sleeve are doubled in length. This allows the sleeve length to be varied to a very large extent by turning back or extending the sleeve. Either by pulling the sleeve cuffs tightly onto the baby’s hands as gloves or by increasing the body size as the baby grows.

No 56-62. Length of the body part is 34,5 cm to 37 cm. Sleeve length 20-26 cm. Body width 20,2 cm.

No 62-68. Length of body part is 37-39,5 cm. Sleeve length 22-28 cm. Body width 22,8 cm.

No 68-74. Body part length is 39,5-42. Sleeve length 24-30 cm. Body width 23,5 cm.

No 75-80. Body part length 42-44,5cm. Sleeve length 26-32 cm. Body width 25 cm.

No 80-86. Length of body part is 45-48cm. Sleeve length. 28-34. Body width 26,2 cm.

If we have your chosen tie body in stock, we will dispatch it within 1-2 business days. We’ll have a special order body ready for you within 1-2 weeks.

Maintenance guide

We recommend washing in water up to 40*C, ironing up to 150*C. Tumble drying is not allowed.

The tie body and our family

I don’t really remember what popped into my head, but about 9 years ago, I decided to sew a tie onto a blouse for some reason. Whether I needed a nice gift for my boys or I was on my way to a fancy party with my kid, I really don’t know anymore. But after that, I kept sticking these ties on bodys and blouses! Why? Because the appetite was just there! Plus, it’s a comfortable and festive one-piece garment. Why should a child be uncomfortable or look like a sleepy boy in pyjamas when others are proudly looking formal? That’s how the tie body was born! Maybe you need a birthday outfit for your child too, you’re on your way to a wedding or an aunt’s birthday party. Or are you looking for a gift for your friend’s or sister’s soon-to-be-born baby boy? (In that case, I’d recommend size 56-62. It’s definitely not too small to start with, but you’ll soon be able to wear it.) Comfortable and pretty at the same time, why not!
