I’ll sort through the stock and send you photos of the options. When you write, please let us know whether you would like a cover made entirely of one fabric or of two different fabrics. Material

The baby support pillow is made from organically produced tatters. The pillow cover is made of cotton fabric that is skin-friendly and breathable.

Maintenance guide

The top cover is machine washable at 30°C. Can be ironed on medium heat. The inner content pillow made from buckwheat is not washable.

  The baby support pillow is the perfect companion for sleeping, stomaching and feeding your baby. The pillow goes under the back of the sleeping baby to keep the baby in a side position while sleeping, ensuring a safe sleep. The buckwhet filling moulds to the shape of the baby’s body and the weight of the pillow keeps in place, allowing the correct sleeping position to be maintained. The pillow also provides comfort during feeding – with the pillow supporting the baby from the back, the baby stays firmly close to the mother, making feeding even more comfortable. When the baby sleeps in the family bed, the pillow can be used as a barrier between the baby and the father, giving the father the reassurance that he will not accidentally turn over on the baby. To make stomaching time more enjoyable, the cushion can be placed under the baby’s chest, providing the support needed to exercise the neck muscles. The pillow can also be used when the baby starts to roll over – by placing it between the baby’s arms and legs, it prevents unexpected waking from sleep. The buckwheat ensures good air permeability, prevent perspiration and do not contribute to dust mites.  

How was the product born?

It took 12 years and now it has happened! My very first self-made baby product finally arrived online. It’s actually been in a bit of a secret range all this time, but now, finally, it’s available online! A baby pillow that I created 12 years ago for my first son! Made of buckwheat shells! In my opinion the best baby product in the world. This pillow was an inseparable companion in our family for the first 6 months of all three children’s lives. It went everywhere with us – in the stroller, on the living room sofa, in bed and even on trips. In Estonia, it is recommended that babies sleep sideways, and in the family school, we were told to ‘roll the rolled-up towel behind them’. Well, that didn’t sound good. It wasn’t my idea of the wonderful babyhood I wanted – my brand new gorgeous baby and some kind of towel…. That’s why I started looking for another solution long ago when I was pregnant. I wanted something that was heavy enough to stay in place, comfortable and safe. The buckwheat shells were perfect! Heavy enough for a small volume. And, of course, the look of the cushion was exactly what I wanted. Over the years I have made them for a whole host of people besides our family and without exception, EVERYONE who has used it has thought it a super invention. Plus the recommendation of my breastfeeding counsellor (my husband’s brother’s wife’s mother 😉 ), Ülle Lember, who found my TUBE to be perfectly safe and suitable for the baby. And more! Frequently asked questions?

Is it heavy enough to hold the baby sideways? We’ve got a baby growing out of the nest and somehow these towels and pillows don’t want to hold them sideways at night. Of course, he’s a real kicker too. It is hard enough. As it also takes the shape of the child, the baby can’t just roll over it. It is too big for that.  

If my pillow gets wet, is the content pillow ruined? Based on my three children’s experience, I can say that as a rule only the top cover gets wet. I made a new pillow for each successive child just out of curiosity, not necessity. If you dry off the top cover when it gets wet, nothing happens to the inner pad usually. However, if a major watering should occur and you need a new pillow, let me know. I can also just make you a new inner pillow.  

Is the pillow safe for your baby? The cushion design has been approved by a midwife as a safe and recommended side base for the baby. So feel free to use the pillow with your baby.  

How old of a child is the baby pillow designed for? The appropriate age is around 0-6 months.  

How does a pillow exercise your baby’s neck muscles? Just as you are taught in family school to put a rolled-up towel under the chest of a child on their stomach to strengthen their neck muscles, you can also use a baby support mat. The pillow comfortably moulds to your baby’s shape and provides a nice support.

How to use the pillow to feed your baby? If you’re breastfeeding your baby sideways and you need the baby to stay firmly in place against you, pull the baby against you and then put a support cushion behind the baby’s back as a barrier. The support cushion will hold the baby firmly in place. In this way, you can use two free hands even to draw with either child.
